Our tomato grown in the fertile and sunny fields of southern Italy are slowly watered.

We collect them when their red color is intense and their skin is shiny and turgid during the maximum ripening period between July and September.

Harvesting and transportation


The tomato that has reached the right level of ripeness is harvested through harvesting machines equipped with an optical selector and loaded onto trucks that arrive at our plant in Pontecagnano in just a few hours.

Only the best tomatoes after being chosen by our optical graders and various various wash cycles are processed and processed.

After eliminating the excess liquid part, the refining machines separate the skins and the seeds from the tomato juice.

After the refining, the final product is put into the different kind of packaging that vary per each product specifically (e.g. the bottle in the case of the passata, the can in case of whole peeled tomatoes etc.).

Quality control


At this stage the steam sterilized containers are filled with tomato (peeled, pureed, cubed or concentrated) and closed with special lids.

Subsequently subjected to quality control to ascertain that they are fit to leave the establishment.
